The acclaimed 2011 Nicola Conte album, originally released on Impulse Records only on CD, is finally reissued for the first time on vinyl, in a 2-LP set with gatefold sleeve and a different artwork!
"Love & Revolution" is a massive work of art that took more than a year to be completed, between 2010 and 2011, when Nicola helmed a vessel full of guests, both Italian and international, a rich collective invited by the Apulian artist to enter his long-time friend Tommy Cavalieri's studios and participate in a diverse and modern jazz album.
Alongside Nicola's usual recording bandmates, a wide series of talented singers graces the perfectly crafted soulful notes of this record, starting with Gregory Porter, now a world famous jazz vocalist but still a young rising star back in 2011, when his first album was released; he is here joined on vocal duties by José James, Melanie Charles, Bridgette Amofah, Alice Ricciardi, Veronika Harcsa, Nailah Porter and Ghalia Benali. All the album tracks also enjoy Magnus Lindgren's excellent arrangements.
